WELCOME
Welcome to The Insurance Institute of Bolton established in 1963.
We believe that we are here to serve our membership. We aim to supply a full range of services to you - from Education to Charities, with Social Events in between.
Please try to find time to browse through this handbook, and take the opportunity to use our facilities to the full. Many local volunteers work hard to maintain the local institute for the benefit of the members.
The CII examinations are organised locally, and the office has an excellent supply of handbooks, and some textbooks, which can be loaned to potential students. We must stress though that these are back copies and as such may contain out of date information. However if you want to browse a course content - then it may help you to decide which subjects to choose.
Do you need CPD advice? A new CPD scheme will be in operation from autumn 2005. It is easier to follow than before, and can be completed on line. Contact any committee member for details.
Our calendar is littered with various sporting and social events each year. For up to date information on forthcoming events and details of our CPD lectures and Educational Conference events please visit the website or alternatively register with us for regular e-mail updates.
Please try to join us at our social events - they're not just for the young, but for the young at heart too- though we do still have an active young members section with events designed just for them.
