Dear Member,

The Insurance Institute of Bolton covers an area to the north of Manchester, including the towns of Bolton, Bury, Wigan, Leigh, Atherton, Walkden & Rochdale.

The Insurance Institute of Bolton started its life as a Committee of neighbouring Manchester Institute but, in 1963, achieved independent status. As with many Institutes in recent years, it has been difficult to maintain it's status as a Local Institute, but with the enthusiastic input of Council members, we are able to provide an exam centre, educational facilities and a programme of regular business meetings as well as social events to maintain the profile of the Institute at a local level.

We are constantly trying to improve our communications with our members and with the introduction of this website hope to be able to acheive this. If you have any suggestions or comments on how we could improve this site or its use, then please contact us.
